Thanks for this, I’ve been looking everywhere for Top Nav CSS.
I also added
.ms-topnavflyouts {
font-family:Georgia;
background-color:transparent;
background-image:none;
padding:5px;
}
This color scheme works perfect for the Obsidian Theme.

SharePoint includes alot of extra markup in its pages. There are so many nested tabled it can make simple changes very difficult. The inline styles don’t make sense to me especially when core.css is such a large file. Why not just put the css in there? It seems like someone was just being lazy.

That !important saved my life. Egad what slop Sharepoint spits out — where do those inline styles (with font-size: 1em – thanks a heap) come from?!?
